Grok · Early access

Schedule social posts from Grok, approved on your phone.

Add Yaybird to Grok as a connector on grok.com, then ask for posts in plain words. Grok drafts them, Yaybird checks them against your brand rules, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

What works today

Works on grok.com.

Grok adds custom connectors on grok.com. Your Grok account is the same in the X app, so a connector you add there is yours everywhere you use Grok.

Yaybird accepts grok.com’s sign-in. xAI has not published every detail of it, so if sign-in fails, write to us. Grok Bot can connect with a Yaybird API key instead.

Setup

Connect Grok to Yaybird.

Server URLhttps://yaybird.com/mcp
  1. Open grok.com/connectors and choose New Connector, then Custom.
  2. Name it Yaybird and paste https://yaybird.com/mcp.
  3. Sign in to Yaybird, pick your workspace and choose "Drafts need my approval".
  4. In a chat, turn on Yaybird and ask for your posts.
Plan you need
xAI’s guide says connectors are open to all Grok users. On Grok Business, an admin turns them on first. Earlier reports said paid plans only, so check yours. Source

Yaybird is invite-only for now. Sign-in works once your invite arrives.

Questions

Grok questions

Can Grok post without me?

No. Grok can only create drafts and ask for approval. A post goes live after a person approves it in Yaybird, on their phone or computer, unless you turn on auto-approve for a brand yourself.

What if it writes something off-brand?

Your brand rules check every draft. A draft that breaks one is stopped, and Grok gets the phrase and the reason so it can fix it and try again.

Can I use it from Grok Bot?

Yes. In Grok Bot, open Plugins and add a custom connector with Yaybird’s address and the header Authorization: Bearer followed by a Yaybird API key.

Where do I get an API key?

In Yaybird, open Agents and choose Create key under API keys. The key starts with sk_yb_ and is shown once, so paste it straight into the tool. Delete it on the same page to cut off access at once.

Using something else?

Not affiliated with these companies; names and logos belong to their owners.
