Changelog

What changed in Yaybird that you would notice, newest first. How approvals work is on the approvals page.

  • Move posts on the calendar

Drag a post to a new time, or press and hold to move it on a phone. A post’s menu can also move it to the next free posting time. Moving a post you approved keeps it approved, and Undo puts it back.

  • Each post’s history

Every post shows what happened to it: who drafted it, each edit with the text before and after, approvals, moves, failed tries and comments.

  • What worked, in plain words

Results now says which platforms and times of day got the most engagement, once at least 3 posts have numbers.

  • Push notifications on your phone

Turn on push in Settings and your phone tells you when a post waits for approval, did not go out, or an account needs reconnecting. On iPhone, add Yaybird to your Home Screen first.

  • Threads of replies on X, Threads and Bluesky

A post can carry up to 25 parts that reply to each other. Each part is checked on its own, and you approve the thread as one post.

  • A guided first run

A new workspace walks you through naming your brand, connecting your first social account and connecting your AI.

  • Swipe to approve

Approve a post with a swipe, with 5 seconds to undo. On a wide screen, work through waiting posts in two panes with the keyboard.

  • Previews that look like each platform

Drafts show as each platform shows them: where the caption folds, Instagram’s crop, the cover frame for videos, and a character counter.

  • Stories on Instagram and Facebook

Choose Feed or Story for a post. Yaybird checks the photo or video is the right shape and length before you approve it.

  • Inbox for comments and replies

Comments on your posts come into the Inbox. Your AI can draft a reply, and it is sent only after you approve the exact words.

  • Emails when something needs you

Get an email when a post waits for approval, fails to go out, or an account needs reconnecting. Choose right away, once a day, or off.

  • A post card inside ChatGPT and Claude

When your AI drafts a post, the chat shows a card with the post on each platform and a link to approve it in Yaybird.

  • Posting times per weekday

Set your usual posting times for each day of the week. Ask your AI for “the next free slot” and it takes the next time nothing else uses.

  • First comments and post results

Add a first comment on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube. Results shows each post’s numbers and your best times to post.

  • Write posts yourself, and invite your team

Write or rewrite a post in the composer, checked by the same rules as your AI. Invite people as admins, approvers or viewers.

  • Nine platforms

Connect Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Pinterest, each through the platform’s own sign-in.

  • Brand rules and starter packs

Set words to never use, claims to block and what every post must include, or start from the General, Real estate or Health and wellness pack.
