Works in Vibe, formerly Le Chat.
Vibe is Le Chat’s new name, at the same address, chat.mistral.ai. It adds custom MCP connectors, and with Yaybird it asks you to sign in.
Only an administrator can add one. On Free, Pro and Student plans, that is you, the account owner. In an organization, ask its admin.
Setup
Connect Mistral Vibe to Yaybird.

- Choose + Add Connector, then the Custom MCP Connector tab. Name it Yaybird, paste

- In a chat, choose + or type /, then Tools, and turn on Yaybird. Then ask for your posts.

Can Vibe post without me?
No. Vibe can only create drafts and ask for approval. A post goes live after a person approves it in Yaybird, on their phone or computer, unless you turn on auto-approve for a brand yourself.
What if it writes something off-brand?
Your brand rules check every draft. A draft that breaks one is stopped, and Vibe gets the phrase and the reason so it can fix it and try again.
Is this the same as Le Chat?
Yes. Mistral renamed Le Chat to Vibe in August 2026, with the same address and login, so these steps are for Le Chat too.
Where do I get an API key?
In Yaybird, open Agents and choose Create key under API keys. The key starts with sk_yb_ and is shown once, so paste it straight into the tool. Delete it on the same page to cut off access at once.
