Choose Yaybird if
Your AI writes the posts and you want a real approval step that the agent cannot skip, plus rules that stop a post before it reaches you.
Postiz is an open-source scheduler with a hosted plan, over 30 channels and its own AI tools. Yaybird is for when your AI writes the posts and you want each one checked against your brand rules and approved by you before it goes out.

You want to self-host, post to more channels such as Reddit or Mastodon, or use built-in AI for images and video.

What Yaybird is for
An AI connected to Yaybird can draft, check and ask. No tool it can call publishes or approves, so the post waits for a person.
Words you never use, claims you never make and house style are checked on every draft. A draft that breaks one stops, with the reason.
Each post shows as it will look on every platform, with a push to your phone when one is waiting.
A post is marked posted only when the platform confirms it and gives back the live link.

Questions
It has a preview link where someone can comment. Postiz’s docs say approval is a conversation, not a state, and nothing blocks publishing. In Yaybird an agent’s post cannot go out until a person approves it.
No. Yaybird is hosted only. If self-hosting matters most, Postiz is the better fit.
