How do I turn a tweet into an image?
Paste the tweet’s text into the box, type the name and handle, and pick a background and a shape. The picture updates as you type. Press Download PNG, or Copy image to paste it straight into a post. No account and no watermark.
Why paste the text instead of a link to the tweet?
X does not let other sites read posts for free, and copying them from X’s pages is against its terms. Pasting the text works for any post, also one you have not posted yet, and nothing is fetched from X.
What size should the image be for Instagram, LinkedIn and Stories?
Feed (4:5, 1080 × 1350) fills the most of the screen in the Instagram and LinkedIn feeds. Square (1:1, 1080 × 1080) works everywhere. Story (9:16, 1080 × 1920) is for Instagram and Facebook Stories, Reels and TikTok. Wide (16:9, 1920 × 1080) suits X, YouTube community posts and slides. Pick 4x for a file twice as sharp.
Is my tweet or photo uploaded?
No. The image is drawn in your browser on a canvas, and your profile photo is read from your device. Nothing you type or add is sent anywhere.
Does it use the X logo?
No. The card is our own clean design in the style of a post, with our own badge and icons and no X logo, so the image belongs in any feed. Use it for your own posts, or quote others with credit.
Can I make a transparent PNG?
Yes. Pick No background and the card is saved on a transparent background, with its shadow, ready to drop onto a slide or a design.
