Schedule social posts from Muse by Meta, approved on your phone.

Muse is Meta’s agent app. Give it Yaybird’s address in a chat and it connects itself. Then ask for posts: Muse drafts them, Yaybird checks them against your brand rules, and you approve each one.

What works today

Works in Muse. The Meta AI app cannot connect.

Muse can add custom connectors, in the US and Canada. The Meta AI app inside Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp cannot connect to outside tools, so use Muse.

Meta has not published its own setup guide yet. The steps below follow how Muse adds connectors today.

Setup

Connect Muse to Yaybird.

  1. Open Muse and start a new chat.
  2. Send: "Add a custom connector for Yaybird at https://yaybird.com/mcp".
  3. Open the sign-in link Muse gives you, sign in to Yaybird, pick your workspace and choose "Drafts need my approval".
  4. Say yes when Muse offers to save the connector, then ask for your posts.

Can Muse post without me?

No. Muse can only create drafts and ask for approval. A post goes live after a person approves it in Yaybird, on their phone or computer, unless you turn on auto-approve for a brand yourself.

What if it writes something off-brand?

Your brand rules check every draft. A draft that breaks one is stopped, and Muse gets the phrase and the reason so it can fix it and try again.

Is Muse the same as Meta AI?

No. Meta AI is the assistant inside Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, and it cannot use outside tools. Muse is Meta’s separate agent app, which can.

Can I use it outside the US and Canada?

Not yet. Muse is only available there for now. Claude and ChatGPT work in more countries.
